To maintain an organization center for intellectual and social development among the women of the community and to provide those educational advantages which shall fit its members for service in future club life; to advance the welfare of the community through charitable relief including (but not limited to) inder privileged children and families; to promote community resources including the erection and maintenance of public buildings, but not limited to such; to promote advancement of the arts, education and science programs and the progress and work of gfwc Pennsylvania. The organization's primary function of dance instruction enables it to accomplish its mission financially. A significant portion of the profits are contributed to local charities and qovernmental entities (first responders) within the geographic region.
