The Lenape Valley Recreation Council, founded as a non profit charitable organization in 1965, sponsors recreational programs for the youth of the community. The association is dedicated to developing the qualities of sportsmanship, integrity and self confidence in the children. Participants learn the fundamentals of sports while the rules of good conduct are stressed and self discipline is encouraged. Over the last 34 years, the program has grown to over 2000 boys and girls participating in five leagues.
