Alliance Francaise De Charlotte

Alliance Francaise of Charlotte, founded in 1949, is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to increase appreciation for the French language and francophone cultures worldwide and reinforce the franco- American friendship. Afc organizes monthly cultural events in the community, offers French classes and theme workshops, and funds two grants annually. Afc is also committed to providing a place where recent arrivals from francophone Nations can make connections with other French speakers in Charlotte.
