The mission of this organization shall be the encouragement of Rifle and Pistol shooting and marksmanship skills development with a view toward a better knowledge of the safe handling and the proper care of firearms. It shall be our further mission to forward the development of those characteristics of honesty, self-discipline, team play, and self-reliance, which are essentials of good sportsmanship and the foundation of good citizenship and true patriotism, especially among the youth of our community.
