The foundation is dedicated to promoting and supporting Michigan's organ and tissue donation and transplant community. We disburse funds to needy organ transplant recipients, both pre and post transplant, in the state of Michigan. Assistance with their immunosuppressive medications and other expenses are in great need. These funds are granted through a grant application process that originates from transplant centers in the state of Michigan. The foundation also sponsors and supports public education programs to educate about the need for organ and tissue donors. Programs are selected through grant applications which exemplify ways to create a culture of acceptance for organ and tissue donation in Michigan. The foundation also supports lecture series and research grant programs to encourage academic participation.
