American Women for International Understanding

AWIU strives to build bridges of International Understanding by fostering goodwill and connection between u.s. Women leaders and their International counterparts through nonpartisan, Women-led action. AWIU's significant programs include International delegations, the annual International Women of courage celebration, global micro-grants, and youth opportunities. Through our programs, we aim to empower Women to become highly effective global leaders, communicators and problem-solvers. Our mission drives us to build a global community based on our values of Understanding, learning, community and social responsibility.
