Danbury Cemetery Incorporated

Danbury Cemetery Incorporated was formed in 1972 in order to provide for the upkeep and maintenance of the Cemetery of Danbury methodist church. Around 1990, the Cemetery property was deeded to Danbury Cemetery Incorporated by the north carolina conference of the United methodist church. The primary activities and purposes of Danbury Cemetery Incorporated are as follows: - to provide for the burial of the people of Danbury,north carolina. This is the corporation's primary and mission. The corporation was formed in 1972 during a period of inactivity of the local churches and the Cemetery was becoming overgrown and unkempt. The corporation was formed in order to provide for the upkeep of the Cemetery and the orderly burial of the people of the town of Danbury. Eighty percent of the corporation's purpose is spent in this endeavoe. - to keep records of burials, dates, people buried, locations, etc. records are kept, including maps and spreadsheets, indicating the location of the graves and
