The VON Hess foundation is a foundation that has authentically restored and furnished a house museum known as wright's ferry mansion. Built in 1738 by susanna wright, all furnishings and decorative arts in the collection predate 1750. It is the only Pennsylvania house furnished exclusively to the first half of the 18th century. The house museum is located in columbia, Pennsylvania and is open to the public.
