People of Progress POP has served the city of redding as an essential community resource center for no-income and low-income families and individuals since 1973. Our mission is to strengthen individuals, families and our community with particular emphasis on issues affecting low-income persons. We strive to remain an accessible, approachable, and available resource to our community. Today, POP is a growing, multifaceted and mission-driven organization that serves over 75 People every day in shasta county.
