To ensure ongoing public benefit from purebred cheaspeake bay retriever dog through programs and acitivities. To encourage quality in breeding said dogs, to disseminate accurate information about the Chesapeake bay retiever and to provide venues to encourage sportsmanlike competition at dog shows, obedience trials, field trials and other American kennel club sanctioned events.
