Southmont Volunteer Fire Company

The Southmont Volunteer Fire company provides fire protection and emergency services to a community of approximately 2,500 residents. Provides mutual aid to neighboring fire companies with a total population of 20,000 residents. Emergency calls including structure, vehicles, and miscellaneous fires. Vehicle accidents, traffic control, debris cleanup as a results of accidents and nature. Respond to down wires, trees, etc. the revenue collected is used for vehicle, equipment purchases and maintenance, operating expenses and training.
