Cancer Assistance Resource Effort

Cancer Assistance Resource Effort CARE exists to provide personal emotional and financial support for individuals diagnosed by a physician as having one or more forms of the disease commonly called Cancer. The American Cancer Society estimates that in 2010 over 1,529,560 individuals were diagnosed with Cancer for the first time and 569,490 Americans will die from Cancer. An average of 1,500 will die per day. This means that nationwide 789,620 men and 739,940 women will begin their lifelong battle with Cancer in a single year. The state of California is estimated to be the home to more than 133,955 of these individuals making it the state with the highest number of new cases of Cancer in 2010.
