LOS Angeles Mounted Policefoundation

The organizations primary mission is to provide support for the LOS Angeles police departments Mounted unit. Primary elements of that support include: providing or maintaining equipment facilities supplies and vehicles used in the Mounted units activities and officer training in the use of same; acquiring training and maintaining horses for the Mounted unit; support for the units public appearances and childrens programs.
