The Bayou society for human resource management ("society") serves the human resource professionals throughout the Bayou region community of southeast louisiana. The society is dedicated to promoting fellowship and a better understanding of the mutual problems affecting those engaged in human resource activities and providing an opportunity for the exchange of ideas and discussion relating to all phases of human resource management.the society's mission is to achieve professional excellence by building a diverse membership that ensures organizational growth within the community, supporting local businesses by providing hr expertise, helping hr professionals grow through high quality educational programs and networking opportunities, representing the profession in local, state and federal government forums, and mentoring future hr professionals.
