JSLH Foundation

The 836m project serves as a public exhibition space for artists and related events. In 2024, the gallery presented programs under the annual theme beyond frontiers, showcasing art that explores boundaries of culture, language, and imagination. The gallery hosted several residencies, including shininho destiny by yaloo, language of the birds with sahba aminikia, and the past will fail you by edward mills. A cosmic maps speaker series was presented including thought leaders who shared perspectives at the intersection of art, science, and spirituality. Musical programming featured concerts with dj umami at the golden gate park bandshell and various collaborations with sfjazz. Beyond the gallery, 836m continued its civic arts initiatives through its mural program. All exhibitions, residencies, concerts, and programs were offered free of charge and remained open and accessible to the public.
