The Mulligan Concept Teacher association, an Ohio non-profits corporation ("MCTA"), is an organization devoted to educating physiotherapists on a relatively new technique in the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries. The technique is referred to as the "Mulligan Concept and was discovered and developed by brian Mulligan, a world-renowned physiotherapist. Brian Mulligan is the author of educational textbooks on the Mulligan Concept technique and has produced numerous teaching videos. His videos and books have received excellent reviews in professional journals. Those eligible to apply for certification include physical therapists, medical doctors, osteopaths and chiropractors. The certification process will permit MCTA to recognize specialists who have achieved a recognized level of competence in the Mulligan Concept. Moreover, certification will permit the general public to find practitioners competent in the Mulligan Concept for treatment.
