Helping Others Maintain Environmental Standards

1. Our mission is to educate and provide facts on, and facilitate use of agricultural best practices in order to safeguard our communities and neighbors by protecting the environment. We are a not-for-profit corporation funded solely by people wanting to Maintain and enhance Environmental safety. A) To associate with and support state and national associations in the furtherance of these purposes in those ways that are allowed for not-for-profit corporations, b) To advocate and support Article XI of the Illinois Constitution which reads in part, "Every citizen is entitled to a healthful environment," in whatever ways a not-for-profit corporation may do so, c) To advocate and support development of legislation in the furtherance of these purposes in those ways that are allowed for not-for-profit corporations, and d) To gather and disseminate information from various sources in the furtherance of these purposes.
