Cibolo Preserve

The Cibolo Preserve, a natural habitat laboratory, was utilized by a group of Texas master naturalists to conduct bi-weekly monitoring of the waterfowl popultion along Cibolo creek during the overwintering season and monthly during the late spring/summer seasons. The dedicated team uses binoculars to identify and count waterfowl that are utilizing the perennial Cibolo creek for sehlter, food and raising young. The data compiled is shared with other scientists (via e-bird) and a comprehensive report is prepared each year, summarizing the years data.
