The foundation's primary purpose is aimed at generating new information and tools that advance public understanding of and provide solutions for critical Environmental issues. Included are the undertaking and funding of scientific research, producing and funding educational materials, creating practical hands-on student educational and scientific career development programs and disseminating new research, information and tools through the creation and distribution of multimedia and the organization of public information events.
