WHWG Initiative for Studying Public Affairs

WISPA's mission is 1. To sponsor and organize non-partisan discussions of issues of the day, primarily through salon dinners and lunches intended to educate, inform and offer room for debate among the guests; these events typically include an expert speaker who, after presenting, is cross examined by members of the audience. 2. Act as a recipient of grant money on behalf of a few select scholars, to whom (in contrast to their university or other affiliations) it conveys the funds without taking a fee.
