The nature and purposes of the business of the corporation shall be to stimulate downtown economic development in Taylorsville, including but not limited to planning and implementing a comprhensive community revitalization program; to seek preservation and restoration of history building facades; with initial emphasis on the downtown area for sidewalks, curbs, gutters, lighting, street furniture, trees, parking facilities, etc ... Through (a)organization (encouraging cooperation and building leadership in the business community:(b)economic restructuring (converting unused space into productive property and sharpen the competitiveness of business enterprises):(c)promotion (creating positive image for downtown):and(d)design(improving the appearance of the downtown).
