American Friends of Connections Israel Inc

Connections Israel was founded in 2001 to bring support to idf soldiers and Israeli society. Since then our organization has brought tens of thousands of support packages from overseas to support Israel, brought support to idf servicemen and women from overseas and directed over a thousand people on education missions throughout Israel. We assist in aiding servicemen and women from abroad by improving the infrastructure in Israel(living situation, adoptive families, meals, advice and support and aid in finding employment and housing after service. For purim we have adopted units in the Israeli navy. We have developed a long lasting tradition to connect schools, congregations, synagogues and individuals to the idf throught the tradition of giving what is known as misloach manot during purim.every class, individual,or community has the opportunity to connect with an idf unit during purim by sponsoring the misloach which are baskets, gifts or food and drink to families across Israel.
