The mission of the Charles l. Brieant Community center is to help young people make the most out of their lives by giving them opportunities for learning, growth and mentorship. The center provides programs for students in the greater ossining area and for at-risk youth in westchester county through partnerships with the greater ossining public schools and woodfield cottage, a youth detention center. Our programs include leadership, conflict resolution without violence, peer mediation, nutrition and homework assistance. Federal court judge Charles l. Brieant, who had a deep concern for young people, played an instrumental role in the center's formation.
