The mission of United Virginia Enterprise Foundation (formerly United Virginia Education Fund, Inc.) is to develop enterprises of under-resourced entrepreneurs through peer-to-peer support (social capital), mentorship and training (intellectual capital) and lending (financial capital). We operate as an ecosystem builder, working to connect individuals to the appropriate community programs and resources. We also offer direct counseling to support the start-up and growth of purpose-driven enterprises. We operate the Virginia Chapter of the Social Enterprise Alliance and produce training programs including a Social Enterprise Accelerator program for under-resourced Enterprise owners that commenced in the latter part of 2022.
