Health Literacy media/Health Literacy Missouri works to improve Health Literacy for the public by closing the gap between consumer skills and the demands of the Health care system by: training Health care professionals to communicate better with patients; assessing Health systems and applying targeted Health Literacy best practices designed to improve Health outcomes; and providing plain language editing and document creation. The organization's service menu also includes Health Literacy social media messaging,customized e-learning trainings, consumer videos and other media content creation and dissemination.
