To foster, promote and protect the interest of those engaged as employers in the Motion Picture and television industry; to negotiate labor agreements with the appropriate trades; to promote, establish and maintain ethical trade practices; to obtain and disseminate accurate and reliable information concerning matters affecting the industry; to establish harmony in the relations existing between employers and their employees; to encourage higher standards of workmanship by promoting sound programs for apprentice training; to encourage the activities of trade journeymen to promote cordial and cooperative relations with government agencies, all segments of the building and construction industry and the public; and to promote the premise that membership in the association is an assurance to the public of the skill, honorable reputation and proven integrity.
