Whatcom County Sheriffs Office Support Foundation

The Whatcom County sheriff's Office Support foundation, hereafter referred to as WCSOSF, was formed to establish a location to accept community donations earmarked for charitable events usually having to do with the Whatcom County sheriff's Office volunteer organizations. WCSOSF was charged with awarding funds to local volunteer organizations such as: Whatcom County department of emergency management, Whatcom County reserve deputies association, color guards from various Whatcom County law enforcement organizations, cadet programs, search and rescue etc.there was community need for a repository to receive public donations in recognition for a job well done in these programs. The funds are used for expenses such as emergency management training, airfare for color guard to law enforcement funerals, uniforms for volunteer organizations, or needed equipment.
