The United States Fire Department Reserve CORPS (USFDRC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit national volunteer Fire Department, was established to honor and support the sacrifices of fire service personnel and their families. As a non-governmental, charitable, and public safety organization, USFDRC provides humanitarian and educational services nationwide. In FY2024, the USFDRC launched its first national service branch, the Mental Health Services Command (MHSC), to deliver free, accessible, and compassionate mental health services to firefighters and their families across the United States. Through virtual outreach, educational programs, and referral services, MHSC addresses the emotional and psychological needs of the fire service community at no cost.
