New Pisgah Community Service

New Pisgah Community Service organization, nfp (npcso) is intended to serve as an umbrella organization facilitating the improvement of the auburn gresham neighborhood in the city of Chicago, Illinois, as well as to support the provision to needed services and housing to low income veterans, senior citizens, children, and other low income Community members. Its activities are exclusively charitable. Npcso focuses on serving people in the auburn gresham neighborhood of Chicago. Auburn gresham is a predominately African American neighborhood with a solid residential base, but faces challenges due to economic disinvestment, violence, and the encroaching problems of lack of affordable housing, lack of employment or underemployment, and lack of affordable social services, which plague the city as a whole
