The purpose of the club is to help the youth have the opportunity to extend their education, level of responsibility and work ethic by raising livestock for competition. Through participation in the local ffa and 4h organizations, the youth raise livestock and compete in the annual burnet county livestock show. The club raises money to help "purchase" the winning livestock each year during the "mock" auction at the show. This enables the youth to cover the expenses of raising the animals, continue on to state and national competitions, and purchase a new animal for the following year. In addition to assisting the funding the livestock projects for the youth, the club awards up to 5 $1,000.00 scholarships to graduating Marble FALLS Area high school seniors each year.
