Southeastern US Mine Safety & Health Conference

The purpose of the organization is to provide an annual Mine Safety and Health Conference in order to educate miners, mine operators, Mine Safety and Health professionals and any related professions working in the mining community. The organization is made up solely of volunteers from the Southeastern United States Mine Safety and Health profession to serve interested parties in the mining industry. Utilizing cutting edge learning experiences, the education Conference hosts keynote speakers from the Health and Safety industry, along with sessions dealing with current issues taught by Safety professionals from across the Southeastern United States. The Conference brings together government, industry, labor and community leaders in an effort to raise awareness of the essentials of Mine Safety and Health.
