The Organization is organized and shall be operated exclusively for the promotion of social welfare within the meaning of Section 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the "Code") and the Regulations as promulgated under the Code as they now exist or as they may hereafter be amended ("Regulations"). All references to any section of the Code shall imply a reference to the Regulations promulgated thereunder. Within the scope of the foregoing purposes, the Organization is organized and shall be operated to advocate (in federal, state and local governments) for limited government, fiscal responsibility, personal responsibility, the rule of law and state and national sovereignty in order to further the common good and to promote the general welfare in the State of Texas and the United States of America.
