Newport Rowing Club

To provide education, training, instruction, and participation in amateur Rowing, while developing the healthy minds, bodies, and characters of student athletes; to encourage sportsmanship, teamwork, and the principles and standards expected of participants in national and international sports; to advance the sport and art of Rowing on the historic christiana river in Newport, de and the surrounding communities, and to educate the public about the benefits of lifetime participation in Rowing.
