WELSH Valley Home & School Association

The WELSH Valley Home and School association is a volunteer organization with the mission to support student activities, events, programming and staff appreciation throughout the School year. Dues are collected, voluntarily, from students to cover the costs of events, assignment books, School directories, School t-shirt and School communications. Our organization provides directories, assignment books and a School t-shirt to every student regardless of their ability to pay dues. As such, our net assets can increase or decrease slightly from year to year. Our budget is intended to break even. To the extent we have a surplus, we provide our School with an annual gift to meet needs unmet by the regular School budget. As our gift for FY2020-2021, the hsa split the cost of a new dragon mascot costume, paid for yearbooks for 8th grade students that would otherwise be unable to afford one and provided a welcome banner for 6th graders unable to visit as 5th graders the prior year.
