Gulf Coast Environmental Labor Coalition

To ensure a balance between the rapid population growth, Labor interests and the preservation of the natural environment in the Gulf Coast region; to establish a role for workers and unions in Environmental activism in the Gulf Coast region; to unite Labor leaders, union members, Environmental activists and other concerned local citizens in the Gulf Coast region to fight for good jobs and a clean environment in furtherance of the goals of the blue/green alliance.
