Through its investigative and educational activities, the NYFFC works to ensure that those contractors awarded public works contracts are contractors who have safe work sites, pay their workers appropriately and perform high quality, on-time work. These activities further the interest of workers engaged in the construction industry by increasing quality job opportunities and ensuring that responsible employers are able to compete and win public works contracts.
