Skowhegan Area Farmers Alliance

The primary purpose of the Skowhegan Area Farmers' Alliance is to provide educational outreach to producers, consumers, school children and citizens as to the ways and means food is grown, and to support the economic, environmental and nutritional importance of regional food production. As well as operating a Farmers' market, the Alliance will promote the beneficial uses of local food, particularly as it supports local family farms, good health, food independence and economically viable communities.
