Parents as Teachers of Porter County Inc

Organization's primary purpose is to serve families with children ages birth to five by providing parenting information and support, developmental screenings, early intervention services and early childhood education. Mission is to support Parents and the children in all necessary skills for successful transition to schools. Families in high risk situation including low income are target population. Primary service is personal visits between families and parent educators. Second area of service is developmental screenings. Third area are group meetings including a kindergarten readiness program.
