To use overnight recreational trips provided by others but paid for by RMIPC, to teach Independence skills to Physically Challenged participants aged 10 to 16. Since the medical needs of the participants required the availability of a nurse, the president who is an R N, was essential. RMIPC was established to provide one type of service in as described above. In the 15 years before the Presidents illness prevented her ability to travel with the groups, RMIPC served over 100 participants at a cost of approximately $75,000. There were approximately 100 participants over the 15 years.
