The mission: the mission of the annual Book Fair is to raise awareness in the United States of the wealth of hispanic culture in the literary arts, and enhance the cultural image of lawrence, Massachusetts. General objective: that both the hispanic and anglo communities in the city of lawrence make the Book Fair a transcendent and unifying event through the study and celebration of books. Specific objective: that the different hispanic communities may have a voice and participation in all the varied activities of the fair. Those writers around the globe can assist in the development and growth of the fair.
