Virginia Association for Environmental Education VAEE advances Environmental literacy in Virginia for all Virginians by promoting excellence fostering collaboration and inspiring community engagement During the 2024 year VAEE grew in capacity continuing to transition from a volunteer-led organization to one led by dedicated staff VAEE provided a robust state-wide Environmental Education conference engaged in systems level change work with school divisions and engaged nearly 80 candidates in our Environmental Education certification program The collaborative work we do with schools had more than 40 school divisions and Environmental Education partners engaged in developing systemic approaches to Environmental Education for children within their communities and schools
