National complex trauma workforce development initiativethe foundation trust led the implementation of the complex trauma training consortium grant, a samhsa-funded initiative to establish a national network of 200+ trauma trainers across 60 field sites. In 2024, we recruited 131 new trainers-in-training from 19 new field sites across 14 us States, 2 major metropolitan areas, and 1 u.s. Territory. By the end of 2024, we have trained, retained, rostered and certified 216 national trainers across 41 field sites spanning 34 us States, 5 major metropolitan hubs (nyc, la, Dallas, Chicago & dc) and Puerto Rico through this initiative.
