New Orleans Writers Workshop

The New Orleans Writers Workshop is dedicated to inspiring fellow Writers to follow their creative vision through: Writing. First and foremost, we are Writers. We share a passion for the art form. We value words, and we cherish every story. We encourage experimentation and create a safe and enthusiastic space for imagination and innovation. Teaching. We offer supportive, rigorous instruction on the art and craft of creative writing. We bring our collective experience to bear through group workshops, seminars, and on-on-one instruction. Editing. We help Writers shape their vision, get to the core of a project, and hone their craft. From inception to line edits, and every step in between, we coach and mentor, providing accountability, custom guidance, and the support Writers need to finish projects. Connecting.
