On most significant activities: To provide opportunities for students to learn about their enviroment, in all disciplines, through direct Field study experience; to provide the structure for developing intensive Field study programs with competent leadership; and to cooperate with the schools, colleges, and universities so that students may receive academic credit for Field study.
