Montgomery County Childrens Day Camp - Camp Emanuel

Operation of accredited annual Day Camp exclusively for educational and charitable purposes in a camp recreational atmosphere integrating hearing and language and/or developmentally impaired and typical children without regard to gender, race, color, creed or financial resources. Resident and day camps, each held for one week (Camp Emanuel) offer an annual opportunity for approximately 20 children who are hearing and language impaired or developmentally disabled to interact with typical (non-disabled) children in a recreational atmosphere to enhance communication, self-esteem and acceptance as individuals.
