Transitions, inc. mission is to successfully intervene in the cycle of family violence, child abuse, and sexual abuse by providing a "safe harbor", personal advocacy, legal advocacy and other related assistance to victims and their families.domestic violence is a pattern of abusive behavior and threatening actions used to exert power and control over an intimate partner or spouse. Domestic violence includes physical and sexual abuse, verbal threats and intimidation, stalking, emotional and psychological abuse, and financial control.
