(1) Organized for pleasure, recreation, and other nonprofitable purposes, substantially all of the activities of which are for such purposes and no part of the net earnings of which inures to the benefit of any private shareholder. (2) To unite retired members of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America for the protection and advancement of their mutual interests. (3) To advance the educational, economic and social welfare and interests of its members. (4) To participate in and promote community activities relating to the interests of its members. (5) To support the best interests of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners, and of the American and Canadian trade union movements
