RUGBY Academy - St. Louis RUGBY Academy was officially launched as a 501c3 in 2023 to create a youth RUGBY program to further the education of competitive youth RUGBY players by providing development and access to the sport of RUGBY at the competitive level for high school and middle school age youth. After several high school RUGBY programs ceased operations a club team called the jets was formed to offer area teens the opportunity to play 7s in the summer and fall seasons and complete in 15s during the traditional spring season. During the fall season a total of 41 youth from 10 different schools participated. In the spring season a total of 41 youth from 14 different schools participated. In the summer session a total of 33 youth from 11 different schools participated. The SLRA teams competed in 10 tournaments throughout the United States and also hosted a gateway 7s tournament.
