Effective september 2017, Scripps health entered into a transition agreement with the elizabeth Hospice, inc., a California nonprofit public benefit corporation, to transfer active patients, and in order to provide for the continuity of care, also arranged for the employment by elizabeth Hospice of the Scripps health employees and the transfer of select pharmaceuticals and inventory. As of december 12, 2023, the entity has been dissolved.
