Literacy Volunteers of America Huntington Valley Inc

Our mission and commitment is to establish Literacy as a fundamental skill possessed by each and every member of our community. To this end we will recruit and train Volunteers to tutor adults, one-on-one, in basic reading skills, recruit adult learners and match each with a trained tutor, maintain a teaching material library for the use of the tutors, and offer support services to tutors and adult learners until illiteracy is eradicated.
